I'd like to go, but even with children going for free, it's a bit expensive for what it is.

I went last year and thought that it wasn't very good tbh. I was expecting it to be more Christmas market and less exactly the same as normal home show..

I went too and it was quite good but was glad I got tickets on 2 for 1. It's definitely not Christmas markets and not worth full price tickets. But, I saw a couple of great workshops on table decorating / tree decorating / homemade decorations etc that I enjoyed. Did get the Christmassy feel but it is more like the usual home show, as has been said. If you want Christmas markets go elsewhere.

I went to this one the year before last, it was lovely. I have booked up for the Harrogate one this year

You can usually get discounted tickets for ideal home somewhere I am not going but I am going to Taste Christmas at the Excel Centre in December!
