OMG now I am thinking of the possibility of getting a white christmas (impossible on South Coast) and trudging round to my friends Christmas Eve to drink mulled wine! OOh how lovely that would be.

I bought some snow boots last year from Trespass (2 for dc and a pair for me) and I didn't get the chance to bally well wear them.

So I fully intend for there to be snow this year. (Bet the DC have grown out of theirs by now -pah)

A few years back ,on the hottest day of the year (mid August) I bought a lovely ,thick, fleece lined long winter coat from Sainsburys for my DD.
The checkout woman was Hmm , but I didn't care because I had the size I wanted, DD loved the coat and I didn't have to rush round searching in December. Grin

I bought DS's winter coat in size 12-18 months when he was 6 weeks old. In my defence, it was in the sale at Sainsburys, is an absolutely beautiful brown cord duffle coat and was half price with a further 25% off in a clothing event which meant I got it for £4.30 Grin

I kitted myself and ds out last year with snow boots because the last few years we were caught out with the heavy snow.

They were never worn. I was Angry and :( .

I'm going to treat myself to some country boots this winter. I've seen a lovely, snug looking pair that would be fab for walking the dog in. And I can justify the price because they'd be needed in the rain as well as the snow so guaranteed opportunities to wear them!

I bought my DD 2 pairs of those Next suede boots (in the sale £15 a pair).
I got her ladies size 3.5.
She loves them and has been happily moseying round in them (in July /August) Grin
