Oops - christmas shop returns advice please!

I kept meaning to return some stuff, but with one Christmas thing or another, I didn't get around to it. now exceeded the 28 day returns period for primark and bhs. Anyone know if I can blag a refund?

Depends if they are faulty, if so , then yes, but other than that they may offer you store credit but at a reduced rate as a...a.....oh what's it called?....where they give you something back out of kindness but really dont need to.....oh for gods sake I was talking about this last night!....

All you can do is go in and ask, but be prepared for a big fat no.

BHS - full refund but on a gift card.
Primark - exchange only.
I'm chuffed with those - except primark is just full of a load of post-christmas tat so couldn't find anything to exchange!!
