About lunch at my parents tomorrow! He agreed to it (if a bit half heartedly), then tried to coax the kids into Christmas dinner at home (not likely as they enjoy it at their Grandads house too) and has otherwise said nothing else about it.

Now he's just started to complain that lunch at theirs means getting up early to fit in present opening etc before going around. I know that my kids like their sleep, but think that they are likely to not be sleeping in too late with the promise of presents to lure them out of their beds.

FGS! It is once a year, there is no hard feeling between him and them, he's just not into socialising too much and is being a bit lazy.
