Is anyone else trying to remember what the DCs have in their stockings?

I'm at a loss. I can remember the big present and that they have an annual and a cooking set each but I'll be buggered if I can think of what else I've wrapped up.
Looks like tomorrow will be a surprise for me as well!

I hardly ever remember which is great as I always get to be surprised by what father Christmas brings!

I've used big present bags I found in asda Blush I haven't done stockings before as DS hasn't been old enough and I think I may have gotten confused as to how much should be in them!

Xmas Grin I'm sure DS won't complain! I have cheapo tacky very bright ones for my DDs...I was quite relieved they were so tiny reasonably sized as stocking bits can cost a fortune! Mine have a massive candy cane each, a minni mouse keyring, a Strawberry Shortcake hairbrush, chocolate, a new cup each and some bath things...hopefully it will fill it up!

As a veteran of 17 years' standing, having supplied well over 30 stockings in my time, I can reveal my best tips < waves graciously >.

As you buy the prezzies, make two lists for each child (ideally wrap as you buy but I've never managed this) - one for 'big' presents and one for stocking fillers. Tick to show they've been wrapped, and put each child's stocking stuff in a separate bag wherever your safe place is.

I find I have to squirrel bigger presents in different places, but The List avoids one child having a late bonanza present session while the siblings look on glumly - at least you'll know there's something missing, even if you can't find it!
It also ensures no one child gets their stocking stuffed in comparison to their siblings'.
Or just get drunk and sod it!
