It's got to this evening and I've still not got a present for my 8yo godson. I'm stuck!! Any ideas?

I've got his 18mo old sister and 3.5yo brother a small book each but I think I've been over thinking trying to find him something really good so it means I've not got him anything!

My budget is about £15-20. What is there that I can go out and buy tomorrow morning as I'm seeing him in the afternoon.

HELP!!!!

Tintin stuff if you have got a Waterstones near you, they gave torch, bincoulars, figures, books etc.

Are there any toys you could reserve at Argos that you think he may like? Maybe a book for him too?

What about one of those lego books which show you how to make all manner of things. My DS would love one of those, and its on the same lines as his siblings.

Thank you all! I knew MN would help :)

I have to go into town in the morning as I work in retail and will head to Waterstones to look for one of those Lego books or Tintin bits.

Phew!

If you have a Hawkins Bazarre then the Horrible science kits are also really good. IN fact there is an awful lot in that shop that he may like.

The Lego books are called Brickmaster and they are brill. The poster who suggested Hawkins is also right- it's a great shop for a wide range of ages .
