Gravy in the slow cooker?

Am trying to think ahead and not have every gas burner on full blast all christmas morning. Is it possible to make a delicious gravy on christmas eve night in the slow cooker?

Bit time wastey why not just use a kettle full of boiling water and make it just before you serve?

Oh I agree for instant gravy, but was thinking of more of a luxury xmas day gravy with leeks, carots or celery and onion and maybe the turkey giblets or some such.

Can the Jamie Oliver recipe be done in a slow cooker?
