is this a good idea? will it be cool enough in this milder weather? ( am in the south east) was thinking of putting a large shopping bag full of pots, sprouts, cabbage, green beans etc in there till sunday as fridge is full.

Yes should be fine if its cool in your garage. might want to put it in a plastic box with a lid or something though incase anything gets into your garage.

My mum keeps hers in the shed.

i am cooking my veg on christmas eve, packing it into tupperware boxes, putting all them in a cardboard box and keeping it in the garden as there will be no room in my fridge.

I always keep it in plastic box in shed or outside table (weight the lid tho). Also put soft drinks in boxes outside but prob too warm to this year

We do this all the time (then forget it is there and buy more Blush).
