This is my first Xmas here so I dont know what usually goes on but is it always this weird/bitchy/spiteful?
Everyone seems to be getting really worked up over small things and admittedly some bigger things.
It's like being back at school!

christmas has a very strange effect on mumsnet.

very entertaining nonetheless.

Christmas wouldn't be christmas without a MN drama

MudAndGlitter · 21/12/2011 18:50

I've stopped watching the soaps since joining mumsnet! It's a lot better entertainment on here.
DP mumsnets vicariously through me and we spend hours laughing at some threads.

I'm with you Mud I am new (October-ish) and I love it. I am waiting for threads like-

Guess what shit I had for Christmas!
I will never speak to MIL again.
Christmas Dinner Drunken Disaster

And many more Grin

MudAndGlitter · 21/12/2011 18:55

I can't wait to see all the ungrateful moaning ones because a MIL dared to get her grandchild something.
Of course I may have to start one like that if MIL buys DS a teepee again like last year!

Yes, there will be me and you Mud doing all the moaning. Grin
