Anyone else panicking people won't like their presents?

This year I've put a lot of thought into everyone's gifts instead of grabbing smellies and plastic tat like usual so now I'm worrying no one will like what they've got!
Am I the only one?

Me too! usually people get a bottle or chocks from us because our wages are low(£15k a year before tax).
But we got a bloody big check from our water company who have been overcharging us for 8 years so we decided to treat our families who have helped us out over the lean years.
I'm really nervous that I've gotten the wrong things.

I handed over presents to family we wont see yesterday and i felt really faint and clammy during the swap.
Silly really!

Yes, me. My aunt in particular as she always spends a fortune on me/DCs but she has really odd tastes and her expressions are quite transparent when she doesn't like something. Her DH is an arsehole and rarely gets her anything so I want her to feel a little bit spoilt, but I'm a bit worried.

I'm bit worried about nephews 11 and 19, bought science pack and book on how to investigate crime scene for 11yr old and book on animation for 19yr old (think murph). Last year gave gift vouchers, which they prob preferred but I felt somewhat sad when our LO were opening their real presents. Not sure how 19yr old will feel as have given vouchers for a while. Maybe back to gift vouchers next year.

Yes me too have bought dd 18 a sewing machine which she should like as she is very crafty and into textiles but she hasn't asked for one ever so gone out on a limb really. Have bought her the usual books, dvd's, smellies etc besides though.

I brought my mum a Jamie Oliver book after she said in conversation she wanted one. Hopefully she will open it before she cooks the dinner or she might think its a dig at her cooking!

I am worried I haven't got DH enough (we set a budget, which I have stuck to but I don't think he has) and that MIL's presents look a bit rubbish compared to everyone else's, because she had expensive ballet tickets as an early Christmas present but now only has some posh soap to unwrap. We have done presents on a tighter budget this year so the pile looks a bit small compared to usual, which is making me worry it doesn't look like much.

Just worried I haven't got enough. Very low income and tried hard but I'm thinking the teens will be the ones missing out. Feeling a bit panicky now.

Oh, and am worried that SIL won't like her present - she wanted vouchers but I saw a picture I thought she'd love and got that instead, but am now worried she'll be disappointed by it. I do think everyone else will like what they've got, though, I'm mostly just worried about present volume.

The only one giving me a vague niggle is no3 son. He wants a particular Panda - well he actually wanted a real one, so we explained that just wasn't possible, and have promised a summer trip to Edinburgh Zoo to see theirs, but he wants "Aubrey's Mummy". Aubrey is the panda who arrived last year. There are no stuffed pandas bigger than Aubrey, apart from a VERY expensive ginormous one I found that was nearly £300 to buy and as much again to have freighted from the USA, so no, not happening. I hinted that maybe A is now bigger than his mummy, as no1 and no2 sons are both bigger than me, but he says no because A is only one. I can't get the niggling suspicion that this will be the only thng he sees/comments on on Christmas morning out of my head. I got him a mummy panda with baby ones among others, damn things will be taking over the world next but, well.... sighhhhhhh

2 yr old DS asked for a brother. Couldn't make that happen in a fortnight so have got him a big boy doll. He asked for a polar bear so have got him a schleich figure of polar bear. He probably won't be impressed!

My dsis is into cooking and asked for a cupcake recipe book. It was only a few quid so I've also got her a whoopie cake book and whoopie cake making tray. Not sure she is into the whole whoopie pie thing on reflection now....though she might be once she gets started.

Yes! DS (10) had a list of old computer games he wanted for rather obsolete games consoles, hence they were pretty much either unobtainable or prohibitively expensive. My finances just don't run to spending £50+ on a single game. So he isn't getting a single thing off his list He's got lots of other things I think he'll love but I'm worrying that he'll be upset about not getting any of the things he actually wrote down.

DD (4) asks for everything she sees on toy adverts but I've already finished buying gifts so she's going to be disappointed if she thinks she's getting the entire contents of a Disney Jr ad break.

Gah.

We took DS to see santa yesterday. Stupid man told DS that he could have the Nintendo 3Ds that he asked for. There's no chance of us affording that so we'll have one disappointed child on Christmas morning.

I have a triceratops under the stairs too! no4 son asked for either a "Dinosaur eating robot" or a "Robot eating dinosaur" but isn't sure which (he just turned 5) so in the end I went for a nice squishy triceratops which will hopefully remain uneaten and won't eat pandas or caterpillars a dinosaur costume and a suit of robot armour. Hopefully this will fulfill his every 5 yr old desire
Miguel Tuna is all ready to go thank the Lord and MNetters who went way beyond the Call of Duty to help there will be a thread and pics, hopefully on Christmas Day itself.

I love that I can MN on my phone xmas day and no one will know I'm ignoring my DC's to check on the Tuna reunion!

My gift panic is about a gift thats not even from me! I had to choose a gift for my boss to get for his girlfriend (that I have never met) I am more worried about this one than all the rest put together!
