My flat smells like Christmas.

I spiced the beef this morning & my flat smells yummy. Starting to feel a bit Christmassy myself.

When do you start to feel festive?

Hi bagel - didn't seem very festive to leave you unanswered!

I've been feeling quite festive for a few weeks now (seriously!) but am really in the swing now I've finished work until the 5th Jan (Yay!). We spent this afternoon watching Elf - then just as it finished, right on cue, some carol singers came to the door which was lovely (ok the singing wasn't great but they were very young and trying hard so it was still good).

Our house smells like Christmas too - last week the DC made some orange and clove pomanders that smell lovely, and I've also sprinkled Douglas Fir essential oil around the house to disguise the fact that we have a fake tree this year

we had the nativity play last week and the little ones sung songs and had a christmas party at preschool I'm also doing some Christmas tidying if that counts?so yes feeling quite festive x

Once the tree goes up and gets decorated - which was today.

My house also smells like Christmas as our Fraser fir tree is very fragrant this year

Mmmmm spiced beef though...

When I do the spiced ham on Christmas Eve! It's a Nigella weakness.... but a good 'un.

DD and I are going to make mince pies and cupcakes tomorrow (we'll be waiting in for a delivery from Amazon)
