Should have learnt from last yr, got our tree dirt cheap form a certain place, and it shed it's needles in abut 4 days. Rang em up and they said it must have been a duff one. So they gave me another, which lasted ok. So a week ago I went to place again (an hour away) and chose one.

Same thing has happened!! Soooooo tomorrow i will have to go and find another tree. Plus pay more. damn damn. I just can't be bothered to travel back to the place, and i am normally pretty good at complaining so i am complaining here grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

bloody needles.

I would ask for a refund and go to a different shop, you should be able to get one a bit cheaper now its only a week away.

Or (Don't shoot me Xmas Grin) maybe pick up a fake none real tree that won't shed needles and you can re use, you will definatly be able to get one of those half price this weeked!

...Running away now in case you a real tree fanatic and I've just insulted you!!! Xmas Grin

Fake tree for me.

We got a real one and it lost needles every time somebody walked past or sneezed.

I was left with a festive twig on Xmas day.

Never again !

Are you parking it in front of a radiator?

Hello, it's the big day. tree number 2 to be found.

I do adore real trees yes, and have always had one, but never this problem until I went to the one hour away place to get a bargain one. Which I did last year, but in my defence they thought it was a dud, and gave me another which was fine.

History has repeated itself tho and lesson learnt that it's ver likely they buy the worst ones that were prob cut in september. Grin

I will write to the place i got it from, and go today and cut one down ( feeling bit sad about that too-go figure) at the more expensive place.
I did everything right, cut the bottom off, watered it. Heating hasn't been on as very mild here.

I got a fake one a few yrs back and it was 6 ft and not bad, but I missed a real one, and it's the one treat I do like. Also, it had about 200 prong things to stick in holes. Such joy. I thought it would be like the one we had when i was a kid, and you the branches were already attached. Mum who lives abroad has one in three secitons, never come across one like that.

The one that's now in the garden was pretty bad. Everytime the cat went under it he came out looking like a hedgehog!

wish me luck.x

Good luck!

I've got a real one shedding everywhere in the kitchen, but a fake one in the living room- which came in 2 sections.
Just slotted it together and pulled the branches down.

It was from Asda last year in the sale. Pre-lit too so the lights are all perfect and even Xmas Grin

yes sections sound good. it was a few yrs ago when dd was 4 ish that she helped me with the hook in type branches. a-z coded pile of green fuzz. it really wasn't fun. I also have the problem of nowhere to store a fake, and we do like a big tree.

thanks! good luck with your twiglett
