I'm having palpitations for you! Grin

LydiaWickham · 17/12/2011 18:49

ok, this will be fine if you can be a little bit organised over the next 24 hours. Firstly, do you have budgets sorted and ideas for any of them?

Amazon are still saying delivery intime for Christmas, can you get an order placed today if you can get any gifts from them? Next, do you have time without DCs tomorrow/Monday you can go shopping? If you know what you want and where from, you could just hit each shop, get it and get back in a couple of hours.

But thank you, you're making me feel a lot better, I just need to get something for DS's key worker at nursery. Feeling a lot more organised!

TheTinselsTheWrongColour · 17/12/2011 18:49

I am going on a mad dash on thurs late night to do mine into a probably over crowded city centre

namechangerbat · 17/12/2011 18:49

Teaandchristmascakeplease · 17/12/2011 18:50

No I haven't either Smile 10 nieces/ nephews, 4 brothers, 4 SILs, mum, dad, something for ExH from kids, oh and my own 2 kids. Luckily most of the children want money this year. So that's fairly easy. I know what my own 2 would like, so it's just getting on with it Blush

happybubblebrain · 17/12/2011 18:54

You are doooooomed.

Teaandchristmascakeplease · 17/12/2011 18:57

I'm not worried but I have next week off and babysitters to watch the kids whilst I pop out.

I fly by the seat of my pants always when it comes to gift buying, birthdays or Christmas Blush

You wouldn't believe how organised I am about most other things though.

hiccymapops · 17/12/2011 18:59

I feel sooo much better reading that Grin I've bought for dc's, and that's it. No wrapping paper, no cards, and nothing for anyone else. I thought I was bad.

hiccymapops · 17/12/2011 18:59

Forgot, I do have goose fat, so I've started food shopping Grin

Teaandchristmascakeplease · 17/12/2011 19:00

I sometimes think it's a form of denial with me Wink LOL

LydiaWickham · 17/12/2011 19:44

ok, for the 2year old DN - Mr Potato Head (available in Tescos)

for the 3 year old DN - Play-Doh activity set (have them in Tescos too)

for the 5 year olds DN- Crayolo kit, Sainsburys have paint a bug ones and paint a pony ones, they were about a fiver.

For parents, go to your nearest deli, buy jam and chutneys.

Now, what's your budgets for DP and your DDs?

namechangerbat · 17/12/2011 19:50

Dd (5) wants roller blades and a new bike

Dd (1) wants for nothing and would be happy with a box wrapped up

No idea for DP

did I mention I'm pregnant and stressed and a fucking emotional mess? Sad

I still haven't!

MollieO · 18/12/2011 17:46

I did all on line from my sick bed yesterday afternoon. All being delivered on Tuesday. Haven't written or got any Christmas cards and won't send any this year. Have also got a Christmas tree being delivered tomorrow.

Really can't understand why anyone would actually want to visit shops Xmas Smile

lljkk · 18/12/2011 17:52

I am impressed,I could almost pay homage to folk who leave it this late.

Lilyloo · 18/12/2011 17:53

Do it all online order tonight will be here next week. Amazon is your friend !

LordOfTheFlies · 18/12/2011 19:40

I've got to buy the fresh/dairy/veg

I've got to marzipan and ice the cake

My tree is coming tomorrow

DCs are finished school now (so chaos reigns)

I saw mini candy canes in Waitrose yesterday and thought "No. I'll leave it, I want red and white not pink and white".
Could not find any mini canes at all.

Will have a look in the Range or Sainsbo.
