DVD needs to be suitable for DD1 (13 and in teenage cool phase), DD2 (9, still very pre-pubescent), grandma (my DM) who loves kitschy sentimental rubbish, DH and I want something a bit more witty and joky. Last year we had 'Miracle on 34th Street' (thanks for buying that, Mum) which very nearly made us vomit, it was so sentimentalised.
Christmas movies we haven't seen which are on the shortlist are:
Grinch
Santa Clause (which seems to have innumerable sequels)
Polar Express
Elf
Deck the Halls (not heard of that before)
Bad Santa/National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are probably too grown up for DD2 and grandma!
Anyone seen any of these and can recommend them (or otherwise!)?
