Can't find it anywhere!

I remember watching a film on TV, probably in the early - mid 80's. I think it was set in a toy shop and some toys came to life one Christmas Eve. They had a short amount of time to get to Father Christmas on the top floor. If they got there before midnight, then they would stay alive. If they didn't, they would turn back to toys. They didn't make it in time. I loved the film but was trying to find out what it was called on the internet but I can't find any reference to it anywhere. Does anyone recognise it? Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion Bligg, but it's not that one. It must have been an 80's film as I still believed in Father Christmas at the time. I don't know if it was released in cinemas first, or if it was just for TV.

That scary you mean there's more than 10 films about toys that come alive!!

Toutle - excellent website. One of the reviews at the bottom mentioned Quincy's Quest, which I looked up and it is the film I was looking for. It's not 80's after all, but 1979. Youtube here we come!
