Where are all my Christmas cards?

None in the post today, one yesterday, one the day before and one last week Dh has two at work and one of those was for somebody who has left, he thought he'd keep it.

They've all been accidentally posted to my house. Will pop them in the post later
Cheer up, loads will come at once.

I dont send them anymore, sorry.

My DC have got about 90 cards between them fuck sake.

Me and DH have 0!

I've just had my second in the post this morning. Ds has brought loads home from school though.

I have written about three so far so I can't really grumble about not receiving many .

We've got 1 off my gran and 1 off my great aunt. Haven't written any yet though (should be doing it now oops!)

Apart from my parents we have 3! Mind you I only posted mine on monday so maybe people are like me and leaving it later?

Or maybe people don't like me - I might post myself some

that said, i've just been to the post office and posted mine, so a lot of people will probably be doing the same this week...

We usually get quite a lot, only about 4 so far this year, and one I thought was quite nice, but when I opened it it was from wait rose
Maybe people are sending fewer now, or maybe the po has screwed up?

I have less this year so far too, I sent all mine out saturday 3rd December so I know everyone has theirs!

I posted them second class but some didnt arrive until the following Thurs/Fri ! A card I posted to Sweden on the Monday arrived there two days later!

I think the post is being a bot slow. I posted letters to dcs from father Christmas over a week ago one arrived the next day the other just turned up today! Reckon all the online shopping has probably taken them by surprise!

So far we've only got one, and it's from DP's gym (which he hasn't been to for months anyway).

We've only had one so far and that was off a neighbour

I suspect there's nothing wrong with Waitrose, just disappointing to open what you think will be a lovely card from a friend and find an advert for smoked salmon and fruit cake.
(was also fooled by the marketing)

Maybe everyone is as disorganised as me - wrote cards 3 days ago - they are still here waiting to go to the post box as I have left them behind on my way to work twice now.

We have five and three of those are from MIL [obsessive card sender]

i dont send any cant be arsed dont see the point, 'merry christmas everyone' there ... Just saved myself a fortune!

We have about 3 for ourselves. However, DCs have brought home over 50 between them from school!! So we look popular .

doesn't 3bird mean she got a card from waitrose not a relative/friend not that she finds waitrose's cards offensive in any way

ooooh I see I was thinking for some reason Waitrose was out of favour/fashion with Mumsnetters for some reason and I hadn't read why (bit like Primar k and the child bikini saga)

Now I get it! I usuually put all my nice red /white/silver themed ones next to my tree and all the other's somewhere else but this year if i do that I will look a billy no mates!

at omy... Yes, nothing wrong with waitrose, I just thought it was a tasteful card from a friend. The dentist usually sends one too not like anyone would display a card from their dentist, surely?!
