M&S Vent and Male Teacher Present Help Needed.....

My dd wanted to get her teacher a tie for Xmas so I ordered 4 to come to our local store so she could choose the one she liked best (selection in store was not great). The ties were 25% off in the male clothing sale.

They were due to arrive in store on wednesday and today I get an email that there is a problem and they will not be arriving. They can not be collected until friday now which is too late.

So what other gifts can I give this young male teacher of my dd who is in year two?

i would just take her somewhere to choose one. one of the supermarkets? or just pick from whatever M&S have in store?

soRRY BUT I think a tie is way to much. a box of chocolates, a bottle of wine? I tend to give the trachers a box of eggs

Dita he has been wonderful to my dd when we are having a terrible time at home with some family stuff and also he is a fabulous teacher. As it was her idea and he is special I didn't mind speding more than usual.

Can you get one of those mugs she can decorate? It would meet her need to do something and it would mean more than something less personal.

Wine is a great idea Xmas Grin - maybe a lovely personal Xmas dec with it. You can get nice wine in Lidl for around £3 and decs aren't too expensive - something he wil love/need (wine) and something to remmber dd by (dec) she says drinking wine from a pupil and looking at decs on tree from previous pupils all of whom I remember!
