I love the idea of new pjs for Xmas eve, but am struggling to find a nice set for ds, who is five. Ideally I'd like to get him decent quality cotton button down pjs and a fleece dressing gown, for less than 20 pounds each. any ideas? he's quite skinny. all the pjs I've seen for boys are just t shirts and elasticated trousers.

John Lewis do some nice ones with proper cuffs on the wrists and ankles - much better for keeping them warm and toasty.

here or cute snowman

Tesco had them half price last week.

swoon. the john lewis ones are lush! I'll look at Tesco too, thank you. George at Asda sometimes do them but they aren't great quality.

Xmas Grin

I had to be forcibly restrained the other week when we were there - DS had 5 sets of PJs for his birthday in Sept, he doesn't need any more (sob)

Can't help for this year but try White Company sale to stock up for next year - got lovely red gingham flannel ones for DS and can't wait to put them on him!

There are Thomas button down soft flannel ones in Boots and they're quite sweet. About £15 I think.

I like the dressing gowns for boys in boots too, as the belt doesn't go all the way round the waist. It is elasticated at the back, and it starts from each side and does up at the front IYKWIM. It means that the belt doesn't come out of the loops. M&S do the same style for less too.
