Both ds1 and ds2 have put skylanders game down on xmas list, seems very expensive - does anyone know if it is worth it?

No help from this direction but I saw this in Tesco. There's little figures in the pack.
(Didn't look close though)

I have brought it for my son but i got it when Tesco were doubling their clubcard points so only paid £25.

My sons friend has it and loves it. Family are buying the accessories to go with it.

Havent actually played it yet but it seems fun!

Somewhere on MN is a review.

DS1 and DS2 begged for it, so they are getting it between them for Xmas, plus a couple of extra figures (thanks to the Tesco clubcard exchange - too ££ otherwise)

I think the basic idea is that the figures sit on base station and somehow appear in the video game on screen.

yes i have seen the ad, ds has now asked for this but the starter set is £50 Xmas Shock on the ad it shows you put your figure [they look like a toy] on the base and the figure comes to life on the game/tv in front of you, you then battle to save something/do a quest, all very confussing but ds was jumping up and down saying 'look mummy that'!!!!
