....where would you have hidden them? Xmas Blush

I bought some of those magic flannels when I saw them at a good price for all of my neices and nephews and have spent ages since finding matching bubble baths to go with them.

Now I've come to wrap everything, I have no idea where the flannels are!

Where would you have hidden them?

yep. i have currently lost a sound of music dvd, and only recently just found a gruffalo toothbrush.

i would look high. have also stashed things in the saucepan cupboard because nobody but me looks in there. they'd all starve to death first.

Flisspaps · 08/12/2011 20:49

Spare bedroom, top of the wardrobe, in the wardrobe, under my bed

roastparsnipsandbrusselsprouts · 08/12/2011 20:51

Under your clothes in a drawer?

Top shelf of the wardrobe?

In a vase?

On top of the kitchen units?

Bedside table drawer?

PresentsRibbonsAndMerrySantas · 08/12/2011 20:51

Bottom of the wardrobe? Loft? Good Luck!
We had a brilliant "Christmas in February" one year as kids when my mum found a load of hidden presents - amazing!!!!

roastparsnipsandbrusselsprouts · 08/12/2011 20:54

Loft?

Old handbag?

Airing cupboard on high shelf?

IwishIwasmoresparkly · 08/12/2011 21:06

Definitely not the loft and we don't have an airing cupboard so they're not there either!

Still no luck - Easter presents sound like a good idea, just need to decide whether or not to give the bubble bath for Christmas think I will since they're all wrapped and I'm bone idle!

Blanket box? knicker drawer, ace hiding place for me, no-one thinks to look in there for stashed stuff. Airing cupboard? Ooh, an empty suitcase. I used one last year for stocking bits & dp's presents. Forgot till a week or so before Xmas

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDoom · 08/12/2011 21:26

No2 son got his last present from last Christmas about a fortnight ago when I found it. It was right here, beside my chair, in a Tesco bag, and had been there all year, and nobody noticed it, or registered it was there, or wondered what it was Confused
Your facecloths are probably in the bottom of a carrier bag in the "sausagey thingy" hanging on the back of the cupboard door in the kitchen.

chickydoo · 08/12/2011 21:29

Maybe you could tell me where I put the Audrey Hepburn box set I was going to give my sister last Christmas!!! Got to be here somewhere

IwishIwasmoresparkly · 08/12/2011 21:52

LOL! Glad I'm not alone in doing this Xmas Grin.

I've had enough of looking now!

3duracellbunnies · 10/12/2011 08:35

Boot of the car? Only works if like me the clutter has spilled out of the house + into car. Am sure would save 10p a mile if I had time to clear out all the junk modelling and lost presents from car!

Grumpla · 10/12/2011 08:36

Old bags / suitcase, cunningly wrapped in a plastic bag scrunched up so it looks empty?

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 10/12/2011 08:42

I am going to spend the day unearthing stuff I have been buying for months. Its bloody everywhere. It keeps falling on me when I open doors. I look at some of it and think 'who the hell did I buy that for'.
Yet still I buy..

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 10/12/2011 08:43

And those magic flannels? I bought about 4 buzz lighyear and 6 girly ones last year.
Found them about mid june and the baby has been sucking on them merrily since.
So I wont be giving them to anyone now.

naturalbaby · 10/12/2011 08:44

my kids are still too little so i have a pile in their built in wardrobe. all you have to do is open the door and look round the corner. long may that last!

i once hid dh's present in our classic car in the garage. still can't believe he didn't notice.

mumeeee · 10/12/2011 10:40

In the dawet

mumeeee · 10/12/2011 10:45

Sorry trying to use my iPod while sitting in bed drinking coffee.Grin I meant to say in the drawer at the bottom of one of the wardrobes. Shoved amongst a lot of stuff in a different wardrobe. I've lost a packet of Santa chocolates that are supposed to go in the Advent calendar.

Runoutofideas · 10/12/2011 10:48

Boot of the car?
