Magazines for 12 yr old DD

After seeing suggestions of a magazine for stockings, have got one today for DS, but have no idea what magazines are suitable for 12 yr old girls. She has a subscription to the Dr Who magazine from her last birthday, and she's not really into girly stuff much, and of course they all come in bags with a free gift so I can't flick through them in the shop. What are non-girly girls reading these days?

DD1 firstly said Dr Who! but then maybe National Geographic Kids if she likes animals and science?

She is 12 this month, thats the best I can get out of her.

We subscribe to flipside which Dd liked from about 11.
It's a teenage magazine published by the IET so bits of science , latest games books and films
