He is dairy and egg free (allergies!) So far he has a mini car from tesco, some dairy free choc buttons and thats it!

Last year santa bought DS (2 months old at the time) a good supply of wet wipes, bubble bath, teething toys, cuddly toy and new bottle.
Fortunately I had no other DCs to tell him how stingy his parents santa had been! Xmas Smile

first crayons (nearly old enough!), a hat and mittens, new cup, little board book, gingerbread man. You could get away with all sorts of stuff you need like vests and socks, nappy cream etc as well. He won't mind Xmas Wink

notnowbernard · 06/12/2011 12:45

useful and practical things

a beaker
bib
dummies?
vest
etc

Pascha · 06/12/2011 12:45

bath ducks

I always put bubble bath, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush in stockings, whether child is 11 years or 11 months. It fills up the stocking with stuff that you'd need to buy anyway. You can also add things like socks or gloves - again, useful, and a good way of loading the stocking up.

pinguwings · 06/12/2011 12:45

Any bits and pieces you need for him?
Spoons, bubble bath, socks,
Christmas bib or hat, nursery rhyme CD, bath toy, book

julezboo · 06/12/2011 12:46

:o Have been stingy with presents too compared to his brothers piles. Thought about a sponge, rubber ducks. I dont know why I buy the bigger stockings and not smaller ones! Would be so much easier!

small wind up musical toy

bagpuss · 06/12/2011 12:47

Board book, small soft toy, bubble bath, socks, vests or a nice sleepsuit, a bath toy. I had a similar problem last year and the year before and those are the kind of things I put in ours.

My 6 month old has in his:

A board book
christmas socks
bathmitt
bath toy
teether toy

It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be! Xmas Smile

How about a bottle of bubbles? My DD loved those, still does. A new sippy cup? bath ducks?

something christmassy that you can dress him up in and admire how sweet he is (hat/booties etc)
bauble with his name on/first christmas and the date
anything you need anyway (and then say 'oooh look how helpful Santa has been bringing just what he needed; some sudocrem and a packet of pampers....)

RainySmallHands · 06/12/2011 14:02

DD 10 months has a rubber duck, toothbrush, toothpaste, Father Christmas tissues, a chewy rubber dinosaur, Christmas socks, a light-up snowman spinner (B&M Home Bargains), a little dangly thing to hang in her room, a panda eyemask and some other bits I can't remember. But I'm sure she'll love the tissue paper the most Xmas Smile

mumatron · 06/12/2011 14:07

E has bubble bath, 2 books, chocs, minnie mouse wash mittens and a rastamouse teddy. I'll probably get her a couple of wind up bath toys as well.

ElderberrySyrup · 06/12/2011 14:08
