I want to decorate my kitchen but no idea where to start. I read on another thread I can't find about giant paper snowflakes but I can't seem to find any. Any suggestions either for the snowflake or something else?

Also, any thoughts/tips for a nice christmassy smell when you come into the house but not artificial, ie candles or plug ins?

Thanks.

You can make your own snowflakes by folding paper and cutting them out; or you can make dough decorations.

You can make a pomander of orange with cloves stuck into it; or you can buy an oil burner and get some essential oils. For a proper christmassy smell, I recommend Roman chamomile, orange or mandarin, and cinnamon. Xmas Smile

I bought my big fan-out snowflakes from wilkinsons if that helps- they were £1 each which I thought was a bargain!

Here is a 'how to' for 3D paper snowflakes. We make loads in all sizes every year and they look great.
