I would love to make some gingerbread decorations for my tree, are they meant to be eaten or just look pretty?

We are decorating on Xmas eve! Anyone tried making gingerbread for there tree before? Did it work out ok? AND did you eat it? Thanks!

yes we ate them right up to the tree going down

it keeps really well, esp with smarties iced on
mmmmmm Im going to do some too, try to do one batch of smaller biscuits, or you'll get sick of them

easiest recipe in sainsburys cookbook of mine., also use an old You magazine recipe but they taste the same
