We are spending christmas day at there houe so want to buy them something nice (without spending a fortune), both my dad and his partener have lived in the same village for 40+ years, dad moved in with his partner 3 years ago into her old cottage. When i was looking around the local shops a few weeks ago i spotted some old photo's of the village and the road my dad and his parten lives on, sadly there was not one of their cottage but one of the high street and a part of the road they live on. Was thinking they would look nice on the wall of their old cottage. What do you think? is it a ok gift or a little bit naf?
I'm useless at buying gifts but i know i would like them if bought for me
