it's planned with military precision-

but i'm bound to forget something.

am considering diving into town on the 24th to see Arthur Christmas with the DC (we used to go and feed reindeer in the park but they are stuffed to the gills by then). So I can pick up any last minute things.

What has been forgotten from your list?

Blimey. Are you one of those people who start in July?

I am doing my usual seasonal frozen rabbit in the Christmas headlights impression. Will I never learn Hmm

I forgot to make my Christmas cake Xmas Shock I am still going to give it a go. It might be that it is safe to drive after eating this year though, due to lack of time to "soak". Xmas Grin

Very smug. Leave the room.

LordOfTheFlies · 04/12/2011 18:55

my cake was made in august but that's only because i made extra ones when i did my parents golden wedding anniversary. though it'll probably get iced on christmas eve .

No cake, no tree, no cards written. No presents for family. DC's presents half done. Just need to apply myself......

LordOfTheFlies · 04/12/2011 18:58

Some posters have already bought their dried/freezer food and have booked their on-line shop for the Fri before Christmas.
That's organised. I've got lists! Xmas Confused

I've done all that and am totally organised for christmas in every way.

Therefore, it is a bit of a shame that ds's 5th birthday party this coming sunday, complete with approx 20 kids had entirely slipped my mind.

Sparklingbaubles · 04/12/2011 19:01

I've got lists, just need someone to do all the stuff on them. Grin

spiderslegs · 04/12/2011 19:22

I've bought (but not wrapped) all presents, ordered food from suppliers & booked online slot for the 23rd for supermarket stuff, have sorted out all presents into boxes destined for the same households/recipients, menu planned, sloe gin, cake & pudding made, trees will be bought next weekend, panto & carol services arranged.

Must have forgotten something.

I am resolutely not organisd btw, just seems to have fallen into place (awaits blizzrd to thwart plans).

Presents nearly all wrapped... DH got some decorations down from the attic today... That's about it!
