Do you want an adult film or childrens? I'm going to watch Home Alone (again) with dds this year I think. I'm also planning to do the itoning later whilst watching Love Actually - but that's definately one for the adults!

I've got the Raymond Briggs Father Christmas as a fim and dd (4) loves that.

I was sort of assuming we 're either talking short childrens film or long adult film with baby asleep in arms in pjs.

I'd like something he would be interested in (if only for 5 mins) and for it to become our xmas eve family film in years to come too. I was thinking 'the snowman' but wondered if anyone had any other ideas from having done the same with young children. My knowledge of childreI's films is based on what I knew as a child. Sorry if anyone thinks I'm a bit mad for wanting ds to watch a film with us. We watched 'love actually' with him last year, but I don't think he really knew about that! 'love actually had been our couple xmas film, I thought I'd maybe replace it with a family film this year.

We really love Elf. Has some good visual stuff for a toddler and laughs/tears/romance for the adults.

one of The Muppets xmas movies?

Home Alone is great, but a bit scary (looking forward to the next 2-3 years).
