My parents have asked what to buy DD, only I am completely out of ideas! Anything in particular that your little ones have enjoyed when in the almost crawling stage? Budget about £30. Thanks!

My DD is a similar age, my mum wants to buy a glove puppet for her.

I saw this in Gap www.amazon.co.uk/Jellykitten-Kitty-Tails-Meow-Ball/dp/B004K336Y0/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1322829241&sr=8-10 and thought it might be quite nice too, the "meow" it makes when dropped isn't too annoying

My parents bought DS a learn and groove activity table at a similar age. He played with a lot for a long time. It can be played with without the legs attached before they start standing/walking.

I don't know any child who hasn't enjoyed playing with the annoying www.amazon.co.uk/VTech-First-Steps-Baby-Walker/dp/B0002MG6ZE/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1322829889&sr=1-1 Again, the front panel can be removed to play with when sitting on the floor.

WhatWould- I was just looking at the Vtech walker, it looks hideously noisy!

DD is just at the stage where she isn't quite sitting unaided, isn't quite crawling yet still manages to be into everything! Something that would keep her occupied for 2 mins so i can quickly run to the loo occasionally and could grow with her is what i'm after. I found a fisher price giraffe sit and stand toy, don't know how to link i'm afraid, perhaps that could be a contender!

Brillo- think I will buy her the meow ball, our friends cat meowed at her last week, she laughed so much, completely amazed by the cat!
