My DH is a total Christmas addict, lights food decorations no problem, but presents!
I'm a SAHM with school age DDs so I'm perfectly happy to sort out DDs, DSIL, DBIL and their two DCs and my family and the cards.
But why do I have nag him to remember to get me something and give him such a detailed spec. I might as well buy it myself.
We've been together 23 years, he can't possibly not know what I like.
He is fearsomely organised and orders hobby stuff from all over the world. A lap top for DD2 and a new set top box no problem. Digital radio or photo frame for me in previous years he could cope with.
But non technical presents, jewellery, clothes, underwear, send him into a flat spin.
This year I've asked for a watch ( nothing very posh) just a smart watch to replace the one some bastard stole from by the sink at the WI meeting room.
He has a very exact spec and a computer, but stll he's moaned and groaned - why!
