My DH casually dropped into a conversation that he was quite interested in the lego mindstorm system. He is notoriously difficult to buy for. He also pushed the boat out gift-wise last year and bought me my lovely Kindle so I thought I'd push the boat out this year and get him the lego.
It started at £199 (Amazon) then dropped to £189 (same price as one Argos) then dropped to £164. I dithered and didn't buy and now I am kicking myself as it quickly went out of stock, then rocketed to £299. Now in stock, but £235. I'm not paying that.
It is still at £189 on Argos and I have a £10 voucher to use. However, as often is the case for Argos, their price is good but they haven't got the stock.
Grrrr.
Luckily his birthday is after Christmas so I've filled a goodie box with lots of munchies that he likes and a few CDs, DVDs and books.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that the price comes down in Jan as I would like to get him something that he would actually enjoy playing with using.
