My twinkle lights don't all twinkle any more!

And it's a dis-ASTER .

They appear to be the type where you can't change the bulbs - they're icicle-style, and just three strands don't light any more. Bah.

Any suggestions? I'm just going to have to buy some more, aren't I?

Can't remember , but I definitely can't get any of the others out anyway so it seems moot. Arses.

I always have a little panic as I get the decs out thinking "did we say last year we needed new lights" ?

Doing mine the weekend, I just hope mine are all OK !

Sorry, meant to also say 'thanks for bothering to reply' - I thought that quite possibly I was ignorant of some fundamental and well-known fairy light upkeep/ fixing rules!

We keep some up all year [lazy emoticon] but only turn them on for birthdays etc. Put them on today as it's the first of Dec and, lo, reduced twinkles?

Ahh, that's why then. If you don't take them down it's bad luck.
