This year is going to be my first time hosting Christmas dinner.

There will be 8 of us. There'll be three guests staying on Christmas eve aswell as ds and I. Another guest lives next door so I'll have use of an extra oven/kitchen. The final two will arrive late morning.

They've all been asking for weeks what they can bring for lunch so I need to make a list and work out exactly what I'll need.

I think I've got my head around what food I need (might start another thread on that subject!) but have no idea when things need to be cooked.

If possible, I'd like to have some things cooked soonish then frozen and reheated on the day.

Is there'd an idiots guide somewhere online? Or can anyone recommend a book that I can borrow from the library?

There's this one
and lots more if you Google. Find one that suits you, or mix and match for the bits you want and jusy print it out.
