Spy Kit for a 6yr old girl

DD has asked the big man in red for a "spy kit" -when questioned as to what this is so Mummy can help him find it this is something from her imagination not something that can be purchased Grin

It consists of:
An eye thing that shoots lasers
An ID card for spies
magic drinks that make you invisible
invisible paint to make you invisible
a special outfit with a hat that you pull over your face but it has holes in it
a notebook and pen

So the plan so far is:
night Vision goggles and a listening device I have found in Argos
Grandma is going to sort out a balaclava (knit/crochet/purchase)
a silver sports drinks bottle from a camping shop
an empty bottle and paintbrush labelled as invisible paint
black combat trousers and a black polo neck top plus or minus a jacket
a moleskin type notebook and "posh" pen
all secured in a small briefcase

does anyone have any idea where I can find a small cheap briefcase?
does anyone have any better ideas than above to make this work for an excited little girl Grin

Surely an invisible ink pen? Grin

A combination lock money box or perhaps a cash tin for keeping spy things in.

What about a black messenger style bag? And every good spy needs a head torch Grin

Brilliant idea, btw! Good on DD Smile

sounds excellent!

how about a spy handbook
and glasses so you can see behind you these ones have delivery on top, I have seen them elsewhere and in shops

For a briefcase, you could have a look on ebay - 'suitcase' might throw up better search results than briefcase
like this one (probably over budget, but cute)

or try a cheapy home store for cardboard storage boxes shaped like briefcases. I have Store 21 nearby which has loads. Or IKEA is bound to have something?

Here

Cardboard with newspaper glued on to either side and holes cut in for eyes to peek out - laminated if pos.

That spy guideook that iheartdusty linked to - both DH and I were obsessed with this (and the detective one) when we were little. The first review that's coming up on Amazon at the moment is very amusing - while I was laughing he came over to see, and has ordered it for old times's sake, despite DD being but one year old... It's maybe for someone just a little older than 6 though?

thesurgeonsmate · 28/11/2011 21:52

In fact, when it arrives, I'll probably be full of ideas...

MrsSnaplegs · 28/11/2011 22:31
