Kidizoom - how good (or crap) are the games on it?

DD (6) desperately wants a Kidizoom for Christmas. I am very happy for her to have the camera with all the bits you can do with the photos etc. What I am worried about though is the games - I am hoping they are completely crap as we have always said that neither of the DC are getting (ever!) a Nintendo DS or equivalent.

Is the kidizoom similar to or equivalent of a Nintendo DS? If it is, then will need to rethink as if it is Nintendo DS by stealth, then DS will have a fit (and so will I!)

no not at all like a DS - dd got a kidizoom for xmas last year (currently 6) and there are only 3-ish girly games and they are pretty rubbish after 1/2 hour! We are also very against DS type stuff so you dont need to worry- the games are literally match the shopping or click on the chicken - no atari style games at all. DD basically used it for the camera and adding funny faces! the video camera part is okay too

No, you needn't worry, the games are all things like match the shapes, pair the shopping items as sunny said.

What you do need to worry about is your DD taking morphed-face snaps of you that make you look like an obese hamster or a pinhead with elf ears!
