Everyone was so helpful when I asked for ideas for DS that I've now almost finished his, and need to concentrate on DD!

She's getting my old iPhone, and I've bought her a set of Vaseline lip balms so far and now I'm stuck. I literally have no idea what to get for her!

Thanks :)

My DD is 10, she is getting Lego for her main present. For smaller things, she likes Justin Bieber, so book, CD, pens etc.

Speakers for her net book, overnight bag (for sleepovers), I cant think of what else she's getting - loads of wee silly stocking filler type things, eye sleepmask, puzzles.

Claires accessories is good for pre-teens, bags, make up (my DD is desparate for some fake nails Hmm )

How about a gift card, so she can shop in the sales.

I have struggled with dd's main gift. I could do little things for her until the cows come home though.

Now 80
Books - Ruby Redfort Mysteries, Gangsta Granny, Latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Skellig...
Rubiks Cube
Etch a Sketch
Blank canvasses to paint
A book with faces that you do the make up on.
A model body and brain to put together
Perfume laboratory
Bits and bobs from Claires
Ear muffs
Dvd
wii game
Board game
nail stickers
soft toy
body spray
Guiness Book of Records

I could go on and on and on and on.

I just wish I had the bank balance to get it all, but then it is probably just as well that I don't.

Thanks very much both, some great ideas there :) carrotsandcelery, I know the feeling - we're struggling to do it on a budget this year, but still get 'decent' presents. It's a nightmare!

Really nice set of colouring pens or pencils from Tesco (they have some "grown up" sets - at a price!)

A book with faces that you do the make up on.

Could you possibly post a link to this; it sounds lovely!

Carrotsandcelery · 27/11/2011 23:08

I found it in TKMaxx but I will see if they have one on Amazon.

Carrotsandcelery · 27/11/2011 23:11

There is this which is a bit pricey but has the make up or which doesn't have the make up but still looks great fun.

As I said, ours was from TK Maxx. I hadn't appreciated what a bargain it was. If you have one handy it might be worth a look.

I'm loving these Breo watches and think I'll get one for our 10 year old niece (and maybe one for me too!)
Just can't decide which one!
