No idea what to do this year.

Tbh, we normally skip it and have cheese, grapes, chutneys and crackers later on. But we're having guests this year and no one Christmas Cake or Pudding.

What will you be having?

I've made Delias Xmas pudding. But you could have something light, like a sorbet?

quite fancy making these jellies from her Christmas book and you can preprep!

we usually buy 3 different desserts to suit everybody: something chocolatey for the kids, a gateau or cheesecake and an apple pie for the old fashioned father in law. usually have it a good half hour or so after main. then theres always chocs and mince pies for later and cheeses/crackers etc but its rarely needed.

ive never had a christmas pudding- we never ate it at my parents growing up but im so tempted to serve it this year just because you're supposed to.
