Problems with Hawkins Bazaar - can anyone suggest where I can buy stocking fillers that work?

Last year several stocking presents didn't work. I also took delivery of an order last year that had several duff things in it and now this year one £20 present wasn't properly packaged and was broken on arrival.

Where can I buy stocking fillers that won't be a disappointment and fall to pieces?

Shock don't say that!

I ordered from there late last night, for the first time!

Hope it's not crap!

I bought a Krispy Kreme gift card today! Was amazed with that purchase, I know my DH will love that in his stocking.

Are you after kids or adults things?

Firebox and Play.com gadgets section.

Kids things Boys. Don't worry, but just check it when it arrives. Their little gadgets sometimes don't work (things like the parachute toys) and we ordered some little stars for the ceiling that had the most miniscule amount of sticky stuff to stick them on - so they wouldn't have worked. The thing that arrived broken this week had just been packed in a box with not protective packaging and dropped on its side (I guess it could have been the courier's fault, but I suspect not).

I will try the others sites you've suggested - thanks.

Someone on here last night suggested Tickseed - I had a look at the website and it looks like nice stuff

I received my order from Tickseed last week and am really impressed. Lovely range of stuff. The duffle bags are fab and the bargain of the year.
Used Hawkins for years and never had a problem with them but they were my little secret and now they are everywhere and maybe have become too big.
But will always love Hawkins for the weather stick which had my dad laughing for months.

I've always found Letterbox to be reliable.

jade80 · 26/11/2011 18:38

firebox.com

jade80 · 26/11/2011 18:39

or .co.uk, I forget.

DS got a little bag of Haribo in the box with his Firebox order-he was really chuffed! It was a 'crisp picker' to eat your crisps without getting greasy fingers.

Those sites look great - thanks so much Smile
