So, smellies, chocolates, drink, spa days or hot air ballooning experiences are out - do you have any other ideas?

A seat massage thing. Can get some reasonable ones. Very calming.

Blummin heck! Is this for a man or woman? Er, a book? Dvd? Candles? Nice piece of wall art?

Pootles2010 · 25/11/2011 11:54

A book.

You can buy special chocs for diabetics.
Organic toiletries may be fine, they often are for those with eczema for example.
A massage for calming and relaxing.

Tickets to theatre or show are out under the 'nervous disposition' angle
Massage also out for same reason.

I'd thought Downton Abbey box set and Thorntons chocs.

Seat massage thing good.

What is he or she into? People with Diabetes can eat chocolate - ordinary chocolate is better than diabetic chocolate which can have a laxative effect! Go with what the person would like .... just forget the Baileys!
