Confused

tempted to just buy that one from WHSmith with the 100 books you mst read before you die thing on but it's only £2 or something and even though am sknit and on a budget I think I can do a bit better than that!

Anyone bored enough to help me find something? :)

Why not get him a few great bookmarks. He may read more than one book at a time? Or how about a book to go with his bookmark? Or a book voucher?

Secondtimelucky · 24/11/2011 22:02

What is your budget? There is some nice stuff on www.notonthehighstreet.com

AvadaKedavra · 24/11/2011 22:05

Excellent link, 157 bookmarks!

Really like www.notonthehighstreet.com/knockout/product/set-of-three-illustrated-bookmarks-endings Grin

Have been specifically told A bookmark. Hmm

Novel (did you see what I did there? Grin)

This one is pricey and sharp!

Not quite a bookmark, but along the same lines

I've used these and they are very handy

I've put a link on another thread to notonthehighstreet.com they have some nice ones. Don't think I can link now as on phone...

Love the dead one and the bright ones but fear they are too "hip" Hmm

The posh one is way over my budget but lovely :)

Saw the lights ones in WHSmith this afternoon and did wonder but wasn't sure wether they also could suffice as a bookmark as they were all in their bubble packs and couldn't quite tell

I love notonthehighstreet. Tis my new Christmas shopping site. I quite like the fact that I'm supporting small independent sellers in most cases. Makes me feel better about the rampant consumerism.

AvadaKedavra · 25/11/2011 10:29

Am in love with this site Blush

Have decided I don't like this wesbite after all, didn't realise last night that for 3 bookmarks which can fit in an envelope and be posted RM I am being charged £4 postage, when it said free for UK mainland. Scotland is mostly mainland, especially the bit I am in!

Hmm

Annoyed I didn't notice last night Sad

Secondtimelucky · 25/11/2011 11:17

Oh how annoying! I think the postage is decided by the individual vendors, so some might be a better deal. So much extra for a small bookmark!

AvadaKedavra · 25/11/2011 11:50

I know! Especially as it costs ME no more to send anything to anyone anywhere in England/Wales. I hate hate hate people who do this without actually looking up what is/isn't mainland - Ebay is a fucker for it too Sad
