DS gets home before us (he's 12 yo in December)
He was feeding the goldfish in the upstairs landing and claims that he stumbled and rolled into my room, and steadied himself on my wardrobe door. It's a 3 door wardrobe, this was the last door.
The door 'miraculously fell open' and he just 'happened' to see his Halo toys which were well wedged into the wardrobe and some selection boxes in a bag.

TskTsk I'd have thought he was too old for that sort of malarky Grin
Can't hide them anywhere else. Top of the wardrobe is full and I don't want to hide them so well I can't find them.

I told him he had spoiled his surprise with these so not to look anymore.!

Lol at his comedy 'stumble'!!

Why did he tell you he'd looked?

I've no idea why he spilled the beans.
Funnily enough, I looked at the big Halo box a couple of days ago and I thought the box looked a tiny bit ripped. I got it half price (£30) in Sainsbury so assumed the box was damaged. But now I'm thinking maybe he's been trying to look.(It is well wedged in)

Maybe he just wanted to confirm it was for him? There's no other boys I buy for. I think it's quite sweet in a weird way that he's excited enough to go looking. Not that I did such a thing as a child. My older sister lead the exploration

I always thought a good place for hiding Christmas presents was under a child's bed Grin
