Help me find a book/activity that will help 3yr old understand where she lives

My DD(3) is very curious at the moment about where she lives, where 'England' is and where all her friends and family are from. She has no perspective (understandably) about sizes of places or distance so I'd like to help her understand the difference between towns, countries, continents etc.
We do not have enough space for a globe (although I've seen some that would be perfect).
Anyone got any ideas? She loves books and learning and she also loves interactive toys.
Much appreciated!

How about an inflatable globe?

Early learning centre have a simple wooden world map puzzle in their latest catalogue (can't find it online to do link though).

This atlas by Usborne is excellent. Inflatable globe is a good idea too!

Both great suggestions. Thanks
