My DD keeps trying to climb on our rocking chair and rather high sofa. (yes she has fallen off but no she didn't get the message?!) Was planning on getting a bean bag chair for little ones but the only ones I can find online suggest they are not hugely comfortable or like a chair at all. If I get her a plastic/wooden one I am worried she will climb up on her knees and fall on her face before she sits down!
And before you suggest it yes I think she does get her balance/lack of poise and general stubborn nature from me!Wink

My mum got dd a lovely leather tub chair and foot stool from dunelm mill last Xmas when she was 2.5. I'm on my phone so can't link but if you go to their website and search it will come up. It was £50 so not cheap but its really lovely and still going strong and I reckon she's got a good few years left where it'll be comfortable.

DS is a climber too - he has an inflatable fireman sam chair which was about £16 from Argos/Smyths and an armchair one from Ikea - with wooden S-shaped arms and a canvas seat for about £10 - a very cute mini version of the adult ones. He loves them both.

Ooh thanks. It looks good. I want her to be able to curl up with a book without falling on her head! She needs arms on a chair.

Ikea do a little rocking chair which we have in 2yo DDs room, not the poang. It has arms & is a good size. Space for her & a teddy whilst listening to stories. Was thinking about a bean bag chair, now I'm not so sure!
