I don't like any of the Yankee candle flavours and I really would like a soy candle but anything that smells nice and christmassy will do. Any ideas?

ikea? apple and cinnamon candles do it for me! They come in all kinds of sizes but I currently have the slightly-bigger-than-fist sized one in the other room and it smells loooooveeely. And dirt cheap too.

I'm sure someone with some class might come along with something better though!

Grockle · 20/11/2011 19:49

I have no class Grin

AND I need to go to Ikea (to return crappy broken stuff Shock) so I shall stock up on candles! Thank you!

Get to tk maxx. Get all my Christmas candles from there! Wink

boxoftricks · 20/11/2011 19:51

Excellent!
Its red.
If you are a vanilla fan, get some of those too.
The green ones dont particularly smell of anything.

MegGriffin · 20/11/2011 20:12

I bought a lovely christmas smelling candle from Waitrose recently.

ENormaSnob · 20/11/2011 20:35

I love the ikea ones.

Red one and vanilla one my favourite.

Love the glade ones too.

t0lk13n · 20/11/2011 20:37

storminabuttercup · 20/11/2011 21:01

The woodwick jars smell lovely and crackle as they burn, I don't have one but was admiring them the other day and will be going back to get one!

Jacaqueen · 21/11/2011 09:54

White Company Winter candle is the best.

Grockle · 22/11/2011 19:23

Lots of good ideas - I'll investigate, thank you.

I've got a glade apple and cinnamon changing light thingummy one and it's lovely, although it does make me hungry! Smells just like apple pie.

There were some nice ones in tkmaxx the other day as I got mil an advent one.

Try Here

I met this woman when I made candles and LOVE her stuff. Very affordable but the scent throw is amazing, much better than Yankee. Used her stuff for my wedding despite the fact I could make my own

deebray · 23/11/2011 19:32

The above link is my company - thank you for the lovely words Goldenbrown! We do have lots of lovely christmas scents! Feel free to pm me if you have any questions!

Wow, small world!

Nat38 · 24/11/2011 15:18

Tesco`s are doing some Glade Christmas Candles that are in a glass pot-very pretty!!-buy 1 get 2 free!! They are £4 each or 3 for £4 on that offer!! I think there are about 4 different christmassy smells to choose from.

Carrotsandcelery · 24/11/2011 15:33

I second the Glade ones from Tesco. They have made my house smell fantastic and I haven't lit one yet! They were selling for £2 in our Tesco (reduced from £4)

deebray · 24/11/2011 21:12

It's a very small world Goldenbrown - I spotted the thread when it came up in my website stats so many times :-)
