Can anyone recommend a decent video camera for a 7 year old?

Ds is keen to start making some videos of his own. We were considering getting him a video camera for Christmas so he can make a start. We would prefer it to be something simple but with scope and something reasonably robust but not too childish either.

The budget goes up to £100 for something really really good that would last him - otherwise it would be less obviously.

Tall order I suspect.

Can anyone recommend something good?

Flip minos are great- good picture quality, easy to operate and easy to put onto a computer.

I can second the Flip camera. We bought one when DS was born and use it all the time. Really user friendly, even I can manage to work it!
