Presents for DD - 10mo at Christmas

Hi,
I am struggling with what to tell relatives to buy DD for Christmas. I'd rather they bought a couple of nice things than loads of tatt (as they have a habit of doing).
DD will just be 10 months at Christmas but is a little behind - not crawling yet or even on hands and knees but does stand well with support.
I'd like to get her a small soft rocking horse - I saw a super cute one in Mammas and Pappas last year so hoping it is there again.
So I am hoping that will not be to advanced for her.
Any suggestions?

well my dd is 11mths and we are getting her, or relatives are a wheely bug, the small one, as they are cute and last for ages :)

also some little bits like a nice toy mouse by jellycat (we call her merryn mouse!) and a little handbag made to look like a funkky owl also by jellycat :)

the other 'big' things she will get from my mil are coming from the happyland range at elc, i am not to sure i like it that much but its a bit like playmobile/sylvanian family for a younger child. my dd is getting the windmill, it comes with some little people and animals (its says from 18mths but looks fine for her) i would rather get the boot that is in the range, but its out of stock :(

If you can't find the rocking horse from mamas and papas, Asda have some quite similar just now. You can get a horse, cow or caterpillar and my store had them for £15 last week (I think it's usually £20)
My dd loved her fisher price first doll and stroller too, she couldn't walk either when she first got it but used it to help her balance and she still loves her dolly from it now she's 2.
