Christmas shopping in Birmingham tomorrow - any recommendations?

Hi all
Off on the train to Birmingham tomorrow.
Will be heading for The Bullring as I've never been there, but does anyone have any other recommendations? Also, for lunch?

The Christmas market has just opened so that's lovely for a browse, although I'd try and go early as it gets really busy. The Mailbox if you're feeling flush is fab, lots of restaurants there too.

There is a Jamie's Italian in the Bullring which is lovely, and the bottom level of Selfridges has lots of little places to eat, sushi/noodle bar, pret, etc.

Have fun, I am as I'm stuck at home with a poorly toddler

Oh and whatever you do, don't buy doughnuts from the markets, Krispy Kremes are SO much nicer

I'm specifically looking for thing for dc, any good toy shops?

There's a big Entertainer in the Bullring (full of plastic tat if that's what you're after!) and a fairly decent toy section at the top of Rackhams.

There's a Wagamama just outside the Bullring.

Remus plastic tat is dd1's fav stuff

The German market was lovely.
We got there nice and early, which was a good job as it was absolutely heaving in the afternoon. Queues to get on the escalator in the bullring!

We're going tomorrow for a mooch around the market and to grab a few pressies. Did you buy anything nice?
