Games for 9 yr old boys

I'm looking out for games for my 9yr old. He likes banangrams tho we've lost it. Has anyone tried Smart Ass? Ideally something that can be played before bed and that doesn't take ages to set up.

Boggle, Mastermind, Yahtzee, Othello, and Rummikub were (and still are) big hits with both of my DCs.
Mastermind and Othello for two players only.
Boggle and Rummikub better with more than two.
Rummikub and Yahtzee take a bit longer than the others to play.
None of them take long, at all, to set up.

The Brainbox ones are nice. There's a whole series, all different subjects. I've bought one each for my 5,7, and 9 yr olds for Christmas this year.
