Which wooden play kitchen for 2 year old?

I can't decide - ideally would like to spend under £100...

Can anyone recommend the one they already have and tell me why it's a good one please?

Am currently looking at john crane, gltc, etc. Am probably totally overthinking it which isn't helping :)

we have the kidkraft one - here

dd2 loves it, and it has been used daily for the last 2 years. has lasted well (although one of the doors has an annoying squeak!). it is big, though.

We've got this which I really like and is now nearly 5 years old and wearing well.

But I really like the ikea kitchen. Have only ever seen one in the store, but its great value. Not sure how much abuse it'd take though?

Ikea one is fantastic. Ds2 got it for his 2nd birthday. You can buy just the base unit, which is about £60. Or can buy it with the higher cupboard, for about £90.

Also saw a nice one in Costco recently. Can't remember the make though, but was wooden, more brightly coloured and had extras like a phone/kitchen roll holder.

What I like about the ikea one is that it fits perfectly in our kitchen, so he dabbles while I cook. Is compact but perfectly decent. Bought the imea saucepans and so on, but had heaps of play food around from when dd and ds1 were little.

He's not exactly gentle and while the kitchen is now some months old, it has zero signs of wear and tear.

DD has the kidkraft grand gourmet corner kitchen, it was very expensive when we bought it for her 2nd birthday, but is very sturdy and will last years.

I can definitely recommend kidkraft, ebay and Amazon have lots of their kitchens for great prices.

ELC/Mothercare had s country kitchen for £100 (think it was £150 with £50 off).

We looked instore and it was really nice. Pastel colours I think.

My local Costco has the one that silverfrog linked to for around £80 I think. We've got an elc one that's a similar size but they don't seem to do it any more.

yeah, we got ours in Costco (and the kidkraft dollshouse too) - love that place!

Another vote for kidkraft kitchens - we have the prairie, its the smaller one they do. It's very sturdy and pretty. Only downside is DP was almost in tears building it bless him. Took all day though!! Next door have the gourmet kidkraft and thats very cool but big, and the DH also struggled when building it. Or maybe the men are not very good at assembling toys on our street

Depends on where it will be. Playroom, bedroom or living room? My friend has the Moulin Roti one and it is gorgeous - looks like a piece of nice wooden furniture in the corner of the living room rather than enormous brightly coloured toy.

Ikea had reduced the kitchen in our store on friday, £40 for base unit and £20 for top bit. I wish I could fit it in our house but we've got to go for the honeybake one here Has anyone had this one? Please tell me it's ok
