MamaPizza · 15/11/2011 13:21

Blimey! I only have to buy for two people, DS and DH. No family, no friends (which might make me look like a saddo, but well it saves money)

Rugbylovingmum · 15/11/2011 13:22

I buy for:
DD
Parents and in laws
My DB, SIL and 2 x nieces
Dp's DB and DS
Granny
2 x cousins (both still kids)
Godchildren (3 DC)
Friends kids x2 (just a token gift, something small)
My best mate
DP

DP buys for me - bless him he is useless at shopping for presents (although he usually manages to get me something great Smile) so I do all our xmas shopping including the food shopping. In return he cleans the house (which I hate) and cooks christmas dinner so I don't really mind.

ScroteyMcBoogerBaubles · 15/11/2011 13:30

We buy:
DD
DS
1 parent
1 sister
1 grandparent
5 godchildren/ friends children.
1 old family friend.

We've lost 3 in my family over the last few years.
DHs family - non contact.

Used to be hundreds.

Tillyscoutsmum · 15/11/2011 13:33

2 DS's

sunnyday123 · 15/11/2011 13:53

both sets of parents
2 x DDs

5 nephews
1 friends son who is 2
2 box chocs for the teachers

we arranged it so that once me and my siblings has children, we would then only buy the kids at xmas and just buy each other at bdays - saves a fortune as we have a £15 limit on eachothers kids too!

SugarAndSpiceMistletoeAndWine · 15/11/2011 14:04

No children here yet, buy for:
DH
6 x parents (divorces etc)
6 x brothers/sisters/in laws
3 x nieces and nephews
7 x friend's children
5 x friends

Plus 8 birthdays in December/January - including DH who hates surprises!

attheendoftheday · 15/11/2011 14:04

We do each other, DD, DM, DMil, DB, DBil, DSil, DN, DDog, DRat, DRabbits, 3x friend's kids, 2x other dogs. Try to only buy for friend's kids not for friends as money's a bit tight.

attheendoftheday · 15/11/2011 14:17

Oh, we'll also get a little present from DD to DM and DMil (this year a photo calendar), and I'm getting a surprise present for DP from DD too.

And presents for animals will be small! Last year the rabbits got corn on the cob, for example.

When I'm skint I've been known to make some of the presents.

celebmum · 15/11/2011 14:37

Interesting! Grin

Sorry I got distracted, DS not too good today and just vomited everywhere!

I agreed with friends that we just buy for each others kids as it does get silly, tried to agree this with SIL too, she has 3DC and me 1, but she doesn't want to, shed rather buy for us 3 and us for her 5 Hmm

I suppose as more nieces & nephews come along I'll have to get tougher and say kids only!! Grin

DC's x 2
Siblings and partners x 8
Parents and grandparents x 6
Nieces and nephews x 4
Friends children x 3
Milkman x 1!
Nursery girls x 8

oh and each other (we do stockings and a big pressie for each other)

..... and thats why I start Christmas shopping in January.

jumpyjan · 15/11/2011 14:58

oh and I forgot -

Aunties/Uncles x 3!

Belmo · 15/11/2011 15:01

A token present for DD who'll be 3 months
4 x parents
Both our dads' birthdays within days of Christmas (inconsiderate bastards)
4 x brothers
My gran
Something 'from DD' for my best mate
Wine/chocs for DP's numerous uncles and aunts who we'll see over Christmas and will shower DD with shite gifts

And each other. DP is a total nightmare to buy for, I haven't got an actual clue.

Ragwort · 15/11/2011 15:01

Hardly anyone Grin

DS (but DH always does this)

Dneice/nephews/Godchildren (6 - they all get vouchers)

Best friend

myself (for DH to wrap up - I hate his taste Grin)

plus a few 'token' bits and pieces for DS to give to one set of GPs.

Ragwort · 15/11/2011 15:02

PS: And DH always buys his own gift from me as presumably he also hates my taste in presents Grin.
