Are there any good Wii games for 12 year old?

I've not much idea what to get DD this year - last year got a Wii for the Big Present which was good, thought maybe a new game or two this year might go down well but no idea what's out there.

We've got Sports Resort, Mario Kart and Wii Fit at the moment.

Zelda Twilight princess, and the new Zelda which is released this month are good adventure games and age suitable.

Mario Galaxy 1 or 2

Supermario Bros

Wii family trainer (i saw this for sale really cheap in HMV £10 for mat and game)

Any of the lego games
Just dance
Sing it games but you need mikes

yeah with you voodoo on Mario Galaxy and Supermario Bros...I guess it all depends on whether she is a girlie girl or not. If she likes sports, the Mario and Sonic at the Olympics - and especially the Winter Olympic Games is a really good one. We played the Vancouver edition last Boxing Day which was fun. I would not bother with Wii fit,,,its really overated and will last 5 minutes ...so not value for money. Just dance is hilarious and a great party game for the family adults and children alike...and also wii party, which is good for younger kids and my 11 yr old DS loves it.

Oh, we've already got Just Dance - Who Let the Dogs out is indeed hilarious!
Actually she quite likes some of the Wii fit stuff like the skateboarding -the 'games' rather than the straight exercise parts.

She's not 'girlie' - is the Zelda thing girlie? What are the 'lego games' (can't quite imagine how lego goes with Wii...)

The Olympics one sounds good, will have to take a closer look at those to see what they include.

There are also starwars, pirates of the carribean, batman and Indiana Jones. They really good fun and can be played with two players if you want.
They are work your way through a story, solve puzzles etc

The 'Lego' thing is just a trick so they don't have to do good graphics, isn't it?. Clever.

I was just going to say, have a look on youtube at any game you are considering. It has saved me a fortune in unsuitable games.

The lego graphics are fun, the games have a lovely sense of humour.
